Angie O’Shea is a dynamic vocal teacher who has been shaping young musicians in western South Dakota for over 30 years. As the founder and director of O’Shea Vocal Studio, she has transformed what began as a small group of fewer than a dozen students performing at traditional recitals into a thriving performing arts studio. Through her decades of teaching, Angie has made a lasting impact on hundreds of students, inspiring good character and confidence while helping students find their voice.

Angie earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education with a choral emphasis from San Diego State University. During her time at SDSU she studied voice under former Julliard professor and Metropolitan Opera singer, Mary MacKenzie. She also studied choral conducting under Dr. Frank Almond.

Early in her career, Angie served as the Director of Choral Activities at Serra Junipero High School and as the director of the Sweetwater School District Choral Camp, both in San Diego.

Outside of her studio, Angie enjoys spending time with her family, serving in her local church, and staying active through fitness.
